THE LAZY LODGE IS A TWO BED ROOM CABIN THAT IS PART OF A HISTORIC FLY FISHING CLUB IN THE CATSKILLS.
The goal was to reproduce the interiors with the new construction.
LAZY LODGE-RENOVATION/
RECONSTRUCTION
A private fly fishing club in the Catskills hired Gregory Design to work with board of governors to refurbish or rebuild the THE LAZY LODGE. The structure now has two bed rooms each with on suite bath rooms and a shared living space with a fireplace.
The cabin is for short term accomodations for members and guests at a private fly fishing club . The club maintains fish hatcheries, rearing ponds and raises trout for the private stream it maintains. The historic club has miles of private prestine fly fishing for it's membership. Like any club the board decisions drove the budget and design of the cabin. The project that stated as a restoration turned into a tear down and rebuild. The end result is a new cabin that can fuction year round but still recall some of the interior features of the old lodge.
